Devanga Atma Gaurav Bhavan is a broad name given to a set of projects consisting of Administrative block, Training center for youth, Career Guidance and Counselling center, Hostels for Boys and Girls for providing residential accommodation, an Old age home, Kalyanamantapam etc. Telangana state government has allotted 30 guntas (3630 yards) of land to Telangana Devanga Samkshema Sangam in survey number 182 -188 ,190 -194 200,202.etc at Uppal Bhagayat in Uppal Mandal, Medchal Malkajgiri Dist vide Go Ms No 189 Revenue dated 05-09-2018 . Telangana state government has also sanctioned Rs 75 lakhs for construction of community building and issued instructions regarding modalities to be followed in construction of the building. Accordingly Telanagana Devanga Samkshems Sangam a registered society ( Regd No 109/2019 )and having Office at 5-1-1680 &681/TF/1/B.3rd floor Ayyangar Plaza, Bank street, Koti, Hyderabad and also got Provisional registration certificate of Form 10AC from Income Tax Dept is a full legal entity and competent to take up activities as per the Govt. rules and regulations.
The society has accordingly resolved to construct buildings on their own duly dovetailing funds of Government with voluntary donations from various individuals /Institutions/Ngos /civil societies. The total estimated cost of the various project is around Rs 11.50 crores which as follows.
The block is of Cellar, Ground floor and 5 floors. The plinth area of each floor is 4027 Sq ft. Total built up area is 28189. Cellar is meant for Parking, Ground floor is for Kitchen, Dining, Watchman quarter, Office room and Museum to display various types of Handlooms processes and methods employed to produce fabric from fiber. 1 st floor is meant for Training and skill development. 2ndth floor is meant for hostel for boys and 3 rd floor is for hostel for girls. 4 th floor is meant for accommodation for office bearers and one meeting hall. 5 th floor is meant for accommodation to Guests coming from various districts.
It is of 2floors. Cellar is meant for parking .Ground floor is for marriage hall and
dining with a capacity for 500 people sitting and dining.
Today’s world is globalized world, children are migrating to various parts of the world for employment and education purposes , leaving alone their parents here without any attendants to take care of their old age needs. As a result senior citizens medical, emotional, health care needs are totally neglected and most of them living in miserable conditions. More over most of the families are nuclear families without any support from society. Further population of senior citizens is increasing every year .There are dearth of old age homes and most of them are also not properly maintained. In order to provide necessary, quality services to enable them to lead dignified life, it is resolved to establish an old age home with a capacity of 56 people.
The building is of 3 floors (Ground floor, first and second floors). Each floor is 1930 sft.in area. In the ground floor Dining, Kitchen, Recreation room, Manager Room is provided. In first floor accommodation is provided for 28 gents and in second floor for 28 women. In each floor one room is provided for supervisor cum nursing. The total estimated cost for old is home is Rs.1.5 cr including furniture and other paraphernalia. Before construction, necessary permissions will be obtained from competent authorities and will be complied legally fully.
Though India is a youngest nation on the Earth, there is not enough skilled persons available in the society to take up various professions as per the market requirements. Most of the talents of the Youth either unutilized or under utilized creating chaos in the society. In order to provide skilling to youth it is decided to establish one training center with state of the art technology.
The vision of the center is to provide digital and communication skills needed in this new Digital world. The training center also aims at providing coaching for various competitive examinations including Civil services, Banking, UPSC, Public service commission etc duly providing residential accommodation on the campus. In this digital ,globally wired world new technologies play a vital role .In order to equip these skills among deserving youth it is decided to establish a training center with state of the art technologies so as to provide them gainful employment after completion of training. A certificate will also be given after completion of training.
Regarding existing weavers, skill upgradation will be taken up to improve their livelihoods.
There will be an interface between industry and training center for designing various courses. Also Training center intends to promote entrepreneurship in youth. There will be a career guidance and counselling center for rural students to guide various career options during post matriculation/intermediate

Sr Citizen Home: There will be one advisory committee with eminent persons and stake holders to advise and guide the management in running the home.
A full time manager with necessary para medical staff and other care giving personnel will be engaged on payment basis as per Govt norms. Recreational facilities will be provided to take of their emotional & socialneeds.24/7medical surveillance and watch & ward will be provided.
The inmates will be charged as per the actual costs without any profit motive. In due couse Govt of India/State Govt grants will also be tapped to reduce cost on the inmates.
Training Center: An advisory committee will be set up for overall management and guidance of Training center with eminent resource persons in the field, industrialists etc. The training center will be run by professionally trained staff and outsourcing resource persons.
Nominal service costs will be charged from the trainees.
Corpus fund of about 1 cr will be created and deposited in fixed deposits with nationalized banks. The interest earned on fixed deposits will be utilized towards training cost.
About 1000 permanent members are being enrolled for yearly contribution towards the cost of training.
Each member shall contribute a minimum Rs.5000 per annum towards training. Target being is collection of Rs.50 lakhs for annum.
In due course Govt of India and State govt funds will be tapped under appropriate schemes.
Infrastructure - 2 Class rooms, one counselling center, Library, Computer lab and accommodation for 60 students
Resource persons - Retired persons, outsourcing required skilled person. A permanent Manager etc.
Estimated cost of the training center including furniture and Computer Lab etc. is about Rs.5 Crores.
